Our operators are qualified and highly skilled in both rail and civil applications.
They are skilled at resleepering, tamping, drainage, formwork, trenching, digging, as well as using jib, bucket and forks of a loader. All GLH operators are qualified Rail Workers who hold the Australian Rail Industry Rail Worker Card. Some hold current First Aid certificates as well as Certificate III in Civil Construction.
“Just a some feedback from the 29/04/2017 & 30/04/2017, from start to finish of the undercutting of 780 & 781A points I was very impressed with the way GLH planned and executed this job, James ensured that I had the machines and operators that I required as this was a particularly crucial job. The operator (Trever boot) was fantastic as were all operators and spotters, Trevor and Boyd went above and beyond expectations on the day in doing tasks that were required also the safety spotters for each machine were great in protecting vital infrastructure and workers. I definitely will be using this consist of machines and operators again in particular the 13t high rail excavator (a very handy and versatile machine) . Again a big thanks to James and his team in helping complete vital works safely and with no delays ,great planning and great team, the end product speaks for itself, Well done GLH. Cheers guys”.
