Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations – RII30815
Calibre Training and Development (RTO# 32394) offers an industry focused course giving participants the opportunity to learn new or formalise their skills and experience by undertaking a nationally accredited course RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations which is recognised across Australia. Completion of this course will further develop and formalise existing as well as acquiring additional knowledge and skills.
This qualification is for the skilled operator working with civil construction plant, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. Participants will gain a fundamental knowledge of hand and power tools, operate small plant and equipment, WHS, drain and dewater, levelling, excavation and specific electives which may include excavator, skid steer loader, roller, water cart, articulate truck, dozer and grader. This program has been developed in line with requirements of working within the Rail Corridor.

Eligibility includes but not limited to…
- Qld Resident
- Do not hold or enrolled in Certificate 3 or higher
- Full-time – ongoing employment, average 38 hours per week
- Part-time – regular basis, no less than 15 hours per week over 4 week cycle
